(Isn’t this true? Thanks for this forwarded text Bjorn.)

Anxious to see the result of your test? I am too.

Here it is —-

The answer to the questions 1 – 18 are all FALSE.

We all wanted to think we are an expert on people — that we know why they cry, what saddened them, what will make them happy, etc. We spend time observing the behavior of others (and ourselves) and immediately form conclusions of such behavior. In fact, there are those who call themselves “love guru” or “love doctor” simply because they think they know so much about love or being in-love.

But how true or accurate are our conclusions or judgements? If you failed answering this quiz, you may want to stop giving prematured interpretations because we might be giving or drawing false conclusions and mislead oourselves, or worse, other people.

This is where psychology comes in. Although there are different school of thoughts in psychology and they argue on the method or technique to be used in understanding behavior, all psychologists believe however that study of behavior must be systematic. That the use of sytematic method of asking and answering questions about why people think, act and feel as they do reduce the chances of coming to false conclusions.

In my next articles, we will be discussing about the different schools of thoughts and hopefully, we will be able to understand better ourselves and others by learning about them.

Feedbacks are much appreciated.
