The Christmas Meme
Mano Po Ninong, Mano Po Ninang

It’s only been a month since I started my blog and my friendship with bloggers and people in my favorite forum wordpress pinoys. I felt elated that I was accepted easily by my new friends. This Christmas, I would like to thank friends, new and old and share this Meme to spread in the internet the spirit of our savior’s birth.

Bluepanjeet, one of my favorite bloggers, tagged me in this christmas meme. He said in his blog —

“A Ninong and Ninang’s responsibility is to aid the parents of their “inaanak” in upbringing the child as a mature, Christian person. But aside from this responsibility is the famous Pinoy tradition of giving Christmas gifts to their respective Godchildren during Christmas.

The Purpose of this meme is to keep track on our own Godchildren’s list wherein often times we unconsciously or consciously forget each and one of them as their numbers grow through each passing year.”

So there… my Inaanaks (Godchildren) are —

1. AM of Meann
2. Uriz of Zaldy and Shey
3. Mark of Ines
4. Mak-Mak of Jeanette and Jun
5. Princess of Ate Neneng
6. Kim of Leila
7. Nene of Ate Jean
8. Jonalyn of Kuya Muhlach

Wow! I’m not sure I have listed everyone but I’ll be updating my list once I get to remember the others…

For my friends I would tag in this christmas meme, here are the rules:

############ START COPY HERE ############

This meme was created to remind us “Ninongs” and “Ninangs” the number of our Godchildren and our responsibility towards them as they grow and mature as better Christians. Here are the rules:

1. List all the names of your Inaanak or Godchildren according to the format above (if you still remember them haha).
2. Tag at least 5 (minimum) bloggers
3. Update the Tag Train

The Tag Train Started Here – BluepanjeetMhel -(Put Your Link Here) -

############ END COPY HERE ############

I am tagging my good friends Jen, Neil, PalitoKing, Nika, JoanJoyce, Ambo, Kengkay, and Misyel to spread this Christmas Meme and may the love of God shine in your homes this season! God bless everyone!
