Don’t Hate Me If I Won’t Swim

My family along with a group of friends went to a resort near Marikina for a weekend outing. My son was very excited because he’s very fixated with swimming although I must warn you, he’s really like a duckling taking a dip. He won’t go deep into the pool because he’s really afraid of drowning so to enjoy swimming, he would sit down in a shallow part of the pool and would lower his head to the water so his hair would get wet.

Although I came to the resort all dressed up for swimming, I did not even touched the pool water up until 6:00 in the evening. Why? Please don’t hate me but my reason was pretty shallow, I won’t sacrifice the faint result of my almost-a-year ritual of using whitening and all natural skin care products for some hours of fun under the sun.

This was also my dilemma when I went to our company swimming party in Subic last December, although the ocean was totally inviting, I just slept the day off. Oh please, don’t hate me because I won’t swim… I’m just too careful not to waste some investment I made by buying a lot of whitening soap, whitening lotion, whitening powder, whitening ointment, whitening… Tsk.. summer is fast approaching and looks like all my effort would soon go to vain. I can only say No twice, but thrice…

Hey, let me just share some of the resort near Metro Manila that you may want to go to this summer:

Club Manila East in Binangonan. Perfect for the family, kids and adults alike. I love their waves, I’ve heard their waves are always up now unlike when we went there last year.

Thunderbird Resort also in Binangonan. Formerly Fiesta Casino and Hotel, their pool has a nice view of the hill. Their hotel rooms are beautiful and spacious and I love their service. They offer delicious and sumptuous buffet lunch for only 250.00 per head. Not to mention that of course, it’s a haven for casino enthusiasts.
