The scare this news about the pyscho killer in Rizal loomed over me just an hour ago although I have received the first text message on this issue a couple of days ago from a good friend, palito king.
Here were the text messages I initially received from him about this killer/rapist:

Since I was busy that time, I wasn’t able to respond immediately and actually did not pay much attention on the gravity of the message. Only today that my officemate came in with the news that a neighbor of her friend in Cainta was raped and killed by this psycho killer that I was truly alarmed. Apparently, the lady neighbor was tortured and raped first, she was found with a missing breast. As if that wasn’t enough, our OJT (on-the-job trainee) who lives in Cainta told us that in their place, three were already killed by this psycho.
Oh please, the news was horrible and to think that cainta was very close to Marikina where I live! As if the news wasn’t enough, one of my officemates just told me some minutes ago that last night, this psycho killer was a chased by the police in Panorama, SSS Village in Marikina! He’s already in Marikina my God!
That news really took me. I called all my family and friends to warn them about this pyscho. Oh please, let’s all be careful and help on how to capture this guy. Let’s be vigilant but extremenly cautious, he seem very dangerous. Here’s description of this guy from other blogs:

BATA, MATANDA, BABAE, LALAKE, BAKLA, TOMBOY di niya pinapalagpas pinapatay niya…Sabi ng tito kung pulis si dennis garcia ay taga TANAY after nya reypin ang anak niya nahuli na ito dun sa may San isiro (lugar ng mga katutubo) dahil black belter nakatakas… and take note: nung Feb 13, 2008 ayun sa mga tao dito sa HINAPO samin malapit sa SAN JOSE NATIONAL HIGHSCHOOL nakita daw itong si dennis na kinutya ang mga pulis mismo sa headquarters ang sabi “ANO DI NYO KO KAYANG HULIHIN” (di ko lm kung totoo balita lang) pero bakit my nawawalng bata dito malapit sa lugar namin…

I admit.. these kinds of thing freaks me out.. they say “Matakot ka sa buhay wag sa patay” hell yeah brotha.. I believe in you.
He was last seen in Delapaz St. Caniogan Pasig City last night at 3am.. knocking on a victim’s doorstep.. when he realized that the resident inside the house identified him.. he ran away…

News Update (February 21, 2008) —
Although the Pasig Police has discredit the reality of this scare, in Marikina particularly, there were still solid rumors that the psycho killer still lurk. When I came to work today, an officemate who lives near Parang was narrating that there was again a chase for the Psycho Killer this morning in Balite, Marikina. If it’s still not true, then how come news like this continue to spread amidst the police’ denials that such killer/rapist exist? Is it still a hoax or now a full-blown cover-up? You decide.

Denis Garcia was last seen here in Summerville Mayamot, Anitpolo City last Sunday 02/17/08 at almost 6:30 pm.. he was looking straightforward to the direction of the church.. but some guys noticed him and when they was about to approach him, he emmediately got inside his car gray old lancer model so the guys chased him till the highway but they wasn’t succeeded.

i don’t know anyone here. But I just really had to share this with someone. Anyone.
I work in a call center sa Taguig area, and I am familiar with this Dennis Garcia issue. My boyfriend lives in Pasig Greenpark Village, near Manggahan. Pagkauwi nya once, andaming tanod and pulis sa village nila. Meron daw nagreport na maid na ung killer daw kumatok sa bahay nila, nanghihingi ng tulong. Ung maid, siguro daan na din ng chismis, namukaan ung lalaki. Tumawag agad sa guard house, ung guard tumawag ng pulis. Pagbalik ng pinto, wala na daw ung lalaki.
Just this monday, usapusapan sa office namin ung bakla na may-ari ng parlor sa may Palar. Ni-rape, pinatay at pinutulan ng ari. Even worse, sinubo pa sa bibig nya ung putol nyang ari.
Hindi ko maiwasan maisip na baka ung serial killer to kasi ganun daw pumatay tong “Dennis Garcia” na to.
It’s just freaky na from Manggahan, pwedeng pwedeng dumaan ng C5 ang killer at pumatay sa Palar.
True or not, walang masama if everyone here be extra cautious. Iwasan muna ang pag-uwi ng gabi. Especially girls, though men and gays should also be careful.
Walang mawawala sa pag-iingat.

Rizal PNP says it is true that there is a person named Dennis Garcia who is accused of raping and killing a 19 year old Kennely Calisura in Tanay, Rizal last December 29, 2007. But… and here lies the difference, Dennis didn’t actually do all the monstrosities listed above. There might be other killers on the loose which is being attributed to the Psycho Killer, Dennis Garcia.
Like the gossip game, the news just got blown out of proportion. The persons behind the psycho killer news just became more creative and embellished the facts. This is just a classic case of someone who knew someone who knew someone who knew someone who knew someone who had a neighbor who heard about an escaped psycho killer from someone who knew someone.
Whether a psycho serial killer is true or not, it plays to be safe and secure the doors.

after posting my 1st comment here, i checked out the news if the psycho-killer issue was really true… some says that it’s just a rumor… but whether this issue is true or not, we should always be alert esp. in our house… always locked the door and don’t entertain strangers… and the best thing to do is to pray and asked the Lord for His guidance… May this killer be imprisoned… God bless us all…
