Whew! I have been tagged by several blogger friends since… last year? I have always wanted to answer their tags but I can’t seem to find the time. I’m just so lucky that my friends who tagged me are really understanding. So, as they say… better to be late than later!

I called this tag, “tag for all reasons…” because I am combining all the tags I got from different friends. Let me start with —

MEME 101 from PinayMama’s Diary
It’s really interesting, a lot of “8″ things that speaks about me… Coincidentally, my favorite number is 8! Here goes —

8 Things I’m Passionate About:

- My 2Ms, I’m actually the 3rd M. They are my husband and my only son.
- My Mom, my ate, my 2 kuya’s and all others in between.
- My desperate attempts to keep the memories of my tatay and baby “M” alive.
- My Education. I’m a certified Lifelong learner addict!
- My Job! People keep on asking why don’t I look for a better company with a better compensation and better everything… The answer is simple, “It’s not all about money.” I love my job, I love the opportunity it gives me to impact other people’s lives while learning from them at the same time. It’s pretty noble really.
- My Marikenya. Blogging defined me. It helped me understand myself more and it helped me understand people more.
- My Shopping Sprees. I had a post about my being a terrible “shopping addict” and my attempts of changing my habits. So far, not good. I’m still trying though.
- My City! Of course, Marikenya won’t be up if not for my passion for Marikina. I love my town. I’m proud of it. I hope it stays this way and if ever, there are changes, I really pray it’s all for the best.

8 Things I Say Often:

- Addict Ka? I’m trying to minimize saying this really. I’ve actually made progress.
- OMG! My new expression. My husband keeps on teasing me about it.
- Kumusta Naman? It’s not actually a question that needs an answer, it’s just an expression expressing disgust or disappointment, and at times, disbelief.
- @*#?!. If you’re from Marikina, you’ll probably understand this one. When I say these though, I’m not mad nor angry, it’s just an expression.
- Tse! Hmmm… I really like this these days. I usually use this to spite my hubby hehehe…
- I love you… I’m really a sweet person.
- Thank you. I’m also appreciative.
- Sorry… and lastly, I can’t stand having someone mad at me especially if it’s my fault.

8 Books I’ve Read Recently:

- He Lived Among Us… thank you Pastor Rodney for giving this book to me. Am still reading it and I’m happy to reunite with the bible.
- Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom
- Angels and Demons by Dan Brown
- The Naked Face by Sidney Sheldon, my all-time favorite author, it’s a pity he won’t write anymore…
- The Other Side of Midnight, also by Sheldon
- A Time to Kill by John Grisham, I have read all his books after reading all of Sheldon’s.
- The King of Torts also by Grisham
- Reference books on Psychology, Teaching etc.

8 Things To Do Before I Die:

- Make my family very happy. Spend really memorable days with them. Make my son truly happy.
- Strengthen my faith.
- Write my own book.
- Publish my book and hopefully, force my friends and some more to buy and read it.
- See and play with my grandchildren.
- ReMarry my husband in a memorable wedding and attend more marriage encounter weekends with him.
- Have a baby girl.
- Have my own school.

- All the songs in My Best Friend’s Wedding Album. Hmmmm… that’s more than 8!

8 Things That Attract Me To My Friends:

- Look of Sincerity
- Love for Life
- Honesty

- Thoughtfulness

8 Things I Learned In The Last Year:

- Saving. Wow!
- Doing Bookkeeping even for my personal and family’s expenses.
- If I want something to happen, “start with a single step.”
- Get my inspiration from myself, not from others. Lesson I learned from my mentor.
- Have a life of my own. Be happy.
- It’s okay to do something fun once in a while, I’m worth it.
- I have become a good and effective trainor, thanks to God.
- I’m a good salesperson!

There! Whew! It’s not easy but I had fun thinking about my “8 things.” Now, I’m tagging my friends to do this Meme 101 because it would really be fun to know about them more…
