Humor in Marikina Public Market
It was a busy and tiring week for me and going to the market with my husband was actually a breather. More so because the public market of Marikina is like stepping into an “unairconditioned” grocery because it’s really comfortable to shop there. The whole of the market zone is roofed, the stalls are organized and clean, and the wet market is not wet.
To add to that, in this market, you’ll see how tired and hardworking people like vendors find humor in what they do. It’s so nice to see that people always find good in everything. These photos will show you that indeed, Filipinos are good natured people who are always ready to laugh and share laughter, even in the midst of smelly fishes, banyeras, and bargaining buyers.
The sign that was on top of these tilapyas was put by the vendors to convince the buyers that their fishes were fresh. Be ready to be happy…
