Want a Tour in Marikina? See the Tour Package that Suits You.

March 29, 2008 · Filed Under about marikina, general, travel

This article is for Ernie, a Marikeño.

Some weeks ago, I went on a City Tour of Marikina which turned out to be very interesting for me. In my 31 years in Marikina, I thought I know a lot but in this tour, I was such in a state of debt relief that now, I really am a sort of authority in writing more about my beloved hometown.

One of Marikenya’s readers, Ernie of cybermanila.biz asked about tour packages being offered by Marikina city Government for those who wanted an in-city tour just like what I experienced.

The good news — there is indeed tour packages for different purposes and interests prepared by Marikina Cultural, Tourism, Trade and Investment Promotions Office or MCTTIPO. See the poster below to see the different tour packages and the cost.

Hi, i can’t seem to get more info on your poster. It won’t open on any of the packages. Hope you can fix it.I’d like to know more about the tour. Thanks

    Hi Orio!

The poster is simply a Jpg image which I got from Marikina Tourism Office so it won’t open to more info when you click it . To know more abut the tours, please call up their office, the contact info is in the poster.

I would appreciate more feedback if you went ahead on one of the tours. :D

Thanks for your info. But, could they package a Special Tour for Senior Citizens? What would be the minimum Group-Size? How much per head?

  7. mhel on April 2nd, 2008 8:23 am

    Sis Ria…

Naku sis, sinabi mo! Try it one of these days!

    Ernie…

I’m not sure particularly how much they would charge you but I’m sure they can arrange a special tour for your group. What they do usually is to ask first the tourists what they’re interests are or particular places they wanted to go so I’m sure they can design a nice trip for you at a reasonable cost, maybe you guys can even use your senior cards for discounts. :)
