Good news to Marikina Job Hunters, the City Government is holding for the third time a week long SM Jobs Fair for Marikeños. The last jobs fair for SM Marikina was held in February where 600 applicants came. Since SM Marikina is hoping to open in September or October this year, the company is still filling the vacant positions and of course, prioritizing Marikina residents for employment.
Once again, the offices in-charge for the jobs fair are the Public Employment and Services Office and Center for Excellence. Like in the past jobs fairs, the prospective applicants need to register with PESO and undergo the four-hour career orientation prior the actual jobs fair dates.
Registration is open from now until first week of June.
Schedule of Career Orientations is from June 9 to 13 but applicant’s schedule would depend on PESO. Venue and time for orientation would also be given by PESO.
Jobs Fair Dates: June 16 to 20
Venue: Marikina City Hall Quadrangle, Sta. Elena, Marikina City
What to bring: Any valid I.D. and Resumes

you can’t apply for SM through this jobs fair but you can go to their branches directly to apply.

im really interested to work at sm and since i am a resident i can go to the job fair right but it said that you need to attend the orientation first and i haven’t, will they still accomodate me there?

yes, you will still be accommodated as a walk-in applicant, wear business attire when you go there.

gud day po.. ask ko po if pano ang process ng application sa sm marikina. ng-aply po kasi ako and napasa ko po yung screening nila,i answered thier questions properly and they ask me if my number is active and i said yes and after po nun ay sabi nila tatawagan na lang po kung kelan ang schedule nila for final interview dahil busy po sila nung ng-aply ako last august 11, maybe busy for the preparation ng knilang opening sa sept. 5.
i heard from my friends na nkpagwork din sa sm na inabot sila ng months b4 tinawagan..iba din po ba ang process sa other sm branches?
if sakaling pakunswelo lang po sinabi nila sakin,,like ko pa rin po malaman ang info ng about their application process.
thanks po and more power in this site.
