Fit and Right

June 20, 2008 · Filed Under self-help

In my earlier post, I talked about being happy no matter what size we’re in. I have started living a fulfilling life when I decided to accept and love myself. I have no doubt people should not focus too much on their physical impunities that would no doubt affect their self-esteem.

Tonight though, I have decided to try very hard to go on a diet for health reasons. Although my husband prepared a very special dinner for me, he reminded me that I should now watch my food intake to ensure the success of my health plans. He jokingly told me to learn a new sport like golf and even volunteered buying me new golf bags so I’d look like a pro. We both know for a fact that we won’t be able to afford such sport. What I can afford though is going back (again) to the gym and run laps at the Marikina Sports Park. I may even call on some friends to play badminton with me from time to time. It’s time to bring out my sports pants and shirts which I placed at the bottom of my closet.

It’s time to exercise, diet, and live a healthy lifestyle. If you wanna join the fun, just give me a message. I’d surely appreciate a running buddy. :)

It’s his strong character and sincere efforts to “urbanize” the metropolis and us city dwellers that keeps me an avid fan. He belongs to a very rare breed of public officials that really walk the talk. I think he deserves all the support he can get from Filipinos. :D
