It’s a no classes day today in account of Bagyong Igme. It rained heavily too yesterday which prompted the Marikina river overflow. Wondering how the river look like during heavy rains? Wow! Why didn’t the FX owner move his vehicle?
From the time I was a kid, I’ve always seen residents gathered on the banks after heavy rains just to watch the river rage by. I’ll have to try that one of these days. Must be a fascinating watch.

oh yeah sis, i tried that once when i still lived in sto niño since the river was close to where i lived, it was indeed fascinating to watch but frightening.

unforgettable sa akin yung umapaw ang ilog na umabot ng jp rizal (mid 80’s, 2nd time na lumubog din ang buong provident village) … totally lubog ang buong purefoods nun … maghagis ka ng net sa ilog nun makaka hakot ka ng mga de lata di mo lang alam kung anu ang laman not unless bubuksan at malalaman mo kung anu sya …

There should have been an inscription of the date the photos were taken, on the Marikina River overflow.
Please don’t forget dates in all photos and reports of events.
