Life and Love

Last night, I visited the wake of a friend’s father somewhere in Cogeo. His father died of cardiac arrest. He was just diagnosed of having cancer of the tongue and was operated. During the wake, me and my friends were talking about death. All four of us are now living with a single parent and we all understand the pain of our friend who just lost hers.

Again, I realized that life is too short and unpredictable. That each day, we should make an effort to let our love be felt by people close to our heart.

The event also made me recognize the urgency of switching from an unhealthy to a healthy lifestyle. As if on cue, my husband told me this afternoon that he already decided he would now force me to jog or go to the gym with him because I am definitely lacking exercise. He said he would wake me up very early so we can jog together before I go to work every morning. Soo-weet! I hope it would work this time. He’s very fit and goes to the gym religiously and lecturing me how to lose weight with discipline and hard work.

My personal motto is to live each day to the fullest and I hope that I’d have a longer life to share it with the people I care the most.
