The annual Marikina Christmas Festival opens today, October 15,2008. This year’s festival theme is water fantasy so expect a lot of mermaids and other sea creatures along the riverbanks and on top of the water.
The most-awaited Tiyangge sa Ilog would open today but since it’s the first day, do not expect too many stalls ready for selling. The beauty of the river would blossom in the days or even nights ahead. I’d definitely visit the ilog one of these days.
