Most women, especially, home keepers like mothers love grooming homes. I belong to this type. My husband and I always argue whenever there are new appliance or furniture or home decoration I wanted to buy for the house. He would always say “that’s not practical or we don’t need that yet.” I learned that most wives share the same sentiments, that husbands are most of the time negative when home development is concerned.

As for me, I still make sure, amidst my hubby’s resistance, that little by little, our house is becoming more and more acceptable and comfortable, if not beautiful. Some months back, I have insisted some major renovations which dramatically improved the overall look of the house. There are still a lot of things to be done though but I’m glad “the future is shaping” as they say. My dream is simple, to go home to a nice-enough looking house after a tiring day’s work.

I am very happy that today, my year-end goal of buying a new sofa for our small living room just came true. After a lot of convincing, I finally coerced my hubby to buy my dream sofa. We went to my favorite furniture shop along A. Bonifacio Avenue and together, we picked the color of our new set.
