It took me a while to actually get down from heaven and write this article. I feel very celebratory.

The reason is I, along with my classmates at the Marikina Polytechnic College (MPC) passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) we took last September 28 of 2008. Oh yes, we waited for more than a month for the result and everything was worth it, we did passed!

With this, I wanted to thank every person instrumental to this achievement. My family who allowed and supported me to finally earn my units in Continuing Professional Education (CPE), a prerequisite before taking the board exam. The congratulatory text message that made me cried wildly came from my mother. She said:

My passing the LET is a gift I’m most thankful for, a blessing I wasn’t expecting from God but definitely prayed for. Weeks before the exam, I have decided not to take it. I planned on reviewing but never got the chance of even holding the reviewers my friends photocopied for me. I was not at all prepared.

Thanks to the angels in my life who persistently persuaded and motivated me to actually take the test. My husband who skipped his sleep to take me to the school I was assigned. To my friends and classmates who kept on texting me, reminding me, cajoling me until the last minute to make sure I’ll be there with the other LET examinees even though they have their own worries to take care of.

To my son who inspired me and is now inspired by me. He just declared last night he is going to be a teacher someday.

To all those who greeted, thank you. To all of you, thank you. I am happy, I am very happy. I owe this all to God and to everyone who touched my life one time or another. To the readers of this blog who continue to inspire me. Thank you.
