Both are on the peak of their boxing career and their fight is dubbed the “dream match” that would make Pinoys, once again, forget poverty and all other national issues while watching the big fight of our national sports hero.

News all over the world covers their fight and our hero has his face and name on promotional products and memorabilia for his fans. Tomorrow, the whole nation would stop working again to watch the much-awaited fight and that would include me.

To add to the excitement, my husband’s boss made a bet with us on the fight. Of course, we bet against dela Hoya and so, my neighbors would definitely hear tomorrow more vigorous and high-spirited cheers for Pacquaio.
