The Christmas That Was

Christmas 2008
My apology for not being able to write new articles for Marikenya for the last weeks. I was too busy with the holiday. Being a mom does that to you — cleaning, cooking, washing the laundry, attending parties and reunions, wrapping presents, etc. It was truly a tiring holiday, I won’t call it a long vacation for it was not a relaxing one.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed Christmas. I always do. It’s the spirit of it that I always look forward to. I love Christmas and I have passed on this liking to my son whom I hope would always feel this way towards my most special day of the year.

I am late with my greetings but even then, allow me to still extend my warmest and most heartfelt Christmas wish to everyone. May we all live a happy and peaceful life from this day forward. :)
