Within this month, this site would undergo a major makeover. It was a plan I made long ago but never really accomplished. It was only this Saturday, when I attended a bloggers’ event at the SM Marikina that this plan was renewed and hopefully, would take effect before March ends.

During the event which I attended with my good friends Rizza and Dennis, I was able to meet wonderful bloggers for the first time not to mention my long-time blogger couple friends Jen and Pastor Jeff. Azrael of azraelmerryland.blogspot.com was the blogger-organizer of the event and I actually approached and introduced myself to him during the registration when I saw his name tag.

A veteran blogger named Migs of migsmobile.net became an instant friend to me while I was happy to meet another blogger from Marikina City, Jay of titikpilipino.com and his girlfriend Aileen working for Google Philippines. By meeting these guys, my passion for blogging grew more.

Hopefully, the make-over I’m planning would be very beneficial to the readers of this site. I am looking forward to updating my wordpress version and changing my wp-theme and with luck, changing my web host too since my friend Neil has been badgering for decades to get my own hosting and leave his hosting company alone hehehe…

Good friends practicing search engine optimization (SEO) too has been providing me good tips for my site so it would gain more readers liek the principle of conversion rate optimization which probably a good topic for blogging once I’m done with the major changes I would prioritize first.

There are a lot of hard work to do but hopefully these plans would push through as they are directed to improve this site which has become a way of life for me and probably, a good resource for a lot of people wishing to know more the city I grew up with as well insights on life and everything else that matters.

Since I’m not a technical guy, I would really need good help on finding a good but cheap webhost as well as assistance in migrating my site to this host and in the end, upgrading my WP version to the latest one and changing my wp-theme. Anyone who can provide me a technical assistance on this one, as in step-by-step since I’m quite ignoramus on this, would be very welcome and well appreciated.
