For almost a month now, I have been suffering from no-internet accessibility disorder at home. I decided to unsubscribe from Smart Bro which did not provide me a happy experience for a year. After I finished my 12-month lock-in period, I decided it’s time to move on.
While waiting for my application with other broadband providers, I decided to temporary connect to internet using my mobile phone. Since I’m a Globe plan subscriber, I have decided to connect via my globe sim. After calling customer service plenty of times, I finally configured my mobile for internet use.
Although it was very easy for me to connect, I was disappointed however because the connection speed was so slow, barely jumping to 100 kbps. I guess the cell tower of this mobile provider was not good enough to reach our household. Not a good news for a mom blogger like me who simply steal time from my busy life to blog.
Now I am contemplating if I should get a prepaid Globe or Smart prepaid kit (or visibility kit) as in their advertisement, they’re saying that their speed go for as fast as 2mbps, at least while I’m waiting for my broadband application. Hmm… what do you think? Any feedback on these kits’ performance?
