Good Places for a Wedding in Marikina

Please help me answer the questions of Fritz, a Marikenya reader:

Hi, sad to say but I’m away from my home in Marikina. I’m planning to have my wedding in 2010. I’m just wondering if the New Marikina Convention Center is a nice place for a wedding reception. Or the Boiler Room? Hope you can give me some ideas or maybe pictures as well.

Thank you very much. Fritz

First of all Fritz, congratulations to you and your fiancee for finding each other and deciding to get married. That is really wonderful. Second, thank you for writing and asking for some suggestions for your wedding venue.

Here’s what I can share about your two preferred venues:

The Marikina Convention Center which opened last February, is a really big place that can accommodate a thousand and more. If you are expecting a lot of guests for your wedding, it is a good place and it’s pretty since it’s new. For a hundred and more guests, the Marikina Hotel which is located beside the convention center is a good wedding venue.

I have asked a good friend working at the Marikina Hotel to give me the rates for the convention center so here it is:

I Marikina Convention Center Rates I

I wanted to post a picture of the convention center too for your reference but I haven’t’ gone there personally yet. With regards to the Boiler, I’m sorry I don’t have any information on this venue yet. If you wanted to check out Marikina Hotel’s packages, click this link.

I hope you have found these information helpful. May I invite also our readers to pose their suggestions for you, Fritz, with regards to wedding venues located within the City of Marikina. liezl, the only airconditioned church in Marikina is the one located within the vicinity of Riverbanks Center, am not sure what are their terms for wedding, haven’t been there myself.
