It’s ironic that while Christmas is fast approaching and people are excited about the traditional noche buena and media noche, many of us are also worried about rapid potential weight gain.
In one of the gatherings I attended, I bumped into an old friend who obviously gained a lot of weight. Another friend ask him when he is planning to lose weight, he said after new year. I laughed aloud and I told him, our dieting schedule falls on the same date and I hope we’ll have the guts to do so.
It is truly hard to stay strictly on diet when holiday season is just around the corner. I was trying to go on a fruit diet just a week ago and stopped it soon as I realize I already started receiving early food treats as christmas gifts. Looks like weight gain for me is inevitable and if I wanted to lose some after the holidays, I would have to resort for the help of weight loss supplements.
What about you? Are you working on your diet now? If you are, will you go on a “christmas break diet” too?
