Have you started shopping for christmas gifts? It’s only 16 days to go before Christmas! How time flies!
Malls, bazaars and other shopping centers are now jampacked with people looking for presents for the ones in their christmas list. When christmas is nearing, panick attacks to those with so many godchildren, nephews and nieces. Christmas is a special day for children indeed.
Last night, my son was telling me: “I hope there’s Santa so I can ask him to buy me Transformers for Christmas.” My son is really wise, he was implicitly and subtly making me understand that that’s the gift he wanted for Christmas from us.
But you see, Christmas is not just for kids. It is also for kids at heart, like us. Each morning, when I wake up feeling the cold, it makes me smile that I can feel that Christmas is nearing. I love Christmas and the love that goes with it. The only thing with adults when you ask them about christmas present is that they wish for expensive gifts like LCD or high-end TVS with plasma mounts, laptop, PSP, iPod, and other expensive “toys.”
So as a tip, if you are giving gifts for grownups, do not ask them what they want. Proceed to buying without asking if you don’t want a budget crash or a heart attack.
Happy Holidays!
