It’s day 3 of the most exciting month of the year. The countdown is on, 22 days to go before the big day — Christmas!
Although the memory of the past disaster still lingers and I have decided that I won’t be putting on Christmas decorations this year, my usual anticipation of the positiveness of this season still lives on. I am still like a child awaiting for the birthday of Jesus Christ with childish hope and excitement. Much has happened but nothing can dampen my Christmas spirit and this is something I am very thankful for.
Everywhere we go, we can see signs of the coming season. Businessess and organizations are already busy preparing for upcoming Christmas parties and Christmas giveaways and promotional materials. This is the best time to shop and I’m quite excited being the shopaholic that I am. In many cases, you can buy items bundled with giveaways like promotional bags which I got recently for buying a cellular phone.
Whatever this season brings, I hope it will bring bring hope to everyone, especially to those who have had a trying 2009.
