The scorching heat of the morning and afternoon sun makes me think of nothing less but glorious and fun summer vacations!
Summer started early this year. In fact, I don’t understand the weather at all. Maybe the effect of global warming, of climate change. During early morning, it is very cold but a little later than that, you’d feel like you’re inside a giant oven. It’s crazy when the sun ray strike you uncovered, you’d feel as if you were hit by a hot laser.
In hot days like these, there are two only things one may think of: cold treats like ice cream, halo-halo, banana con yelo (banana with ice); and summer outings! The cold treats may easily be acquired and inexpensive but the summer vacation may be expensive depending on your desired destination.
As for me, I am thinking of a beach, of a Caribbean-type of summer place. I am thinking of the beautiful Florida Keys vacation rentals which is known as American Carribean. What’s more, swimming is not the only thing you can do in this place, there’s fishing, snorkeling, cruising and back-country hiking. It’s an ideal place for families wanting a wholesome and fun-filled summer together.
It’s too bad I did not win the lottery last night. If I did, I may be filing my leave for next week’s summer vacation in Florida. For now, all I can do is dream.
