All over the news is the huge sinkhole in Guatemala City of Guatemala which in no time swallowed a three-story building. According to scientists, the sinkhole was developed in weeks or years and floodwaters from tropical storm Agatha finally caused it to collapse.
The sinkhole in Guatemala this 2010 is not the first as the first large sinkhole occurrence in the city happened in 2007.
In the Philippines, similar sinkholes phenomenon were also discovered particularly in the provinces of Cebu and Bohol.
