Dangerous Driving Habits, What Are Your Guilty Of?

According to this article, Road Accidents in the Philippines, from January to September of 2011, there were 11,414 road accidents documented by the Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HG) which claimed 1,074 lives. The top causes of these road accidents were  considered or categorized as “human factor” or “human errors” or “human functional failures.”  Other causes, a small percentage, were attributed to mechanical failures and road condition.

In the social networking site Facebook, a poster photo (being sold at drivertrainingsupplies.com, not sure if the content was conceptualized by the site too) with eh title “Top 10 Dangerous Driving Habits”   is being circulated by the users. The photo warns users “not” to engage in the identified habits/behaviors/activities while driving.

The Top Ten Dangerous Habits When Driving that may lead to accidents, and ultimately death:

1. Looking for a dropped object
2. Taking eyes off the road
3. Texting
4. Applying make-up
5. Using a laptop
6. Drinking
7. Eating
8. Reading a map
9. Distracted by friends
10. Talking on a celphone

The question now is… As a driver, what habit are you guilty of doing?
