Any plans for Saturday with your family? You may want to check out the fireworks festival at the Riverbanks Amphitheater  in Marikina tomorrow.

If Taguig has the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition, Marikina has its local version — the First Philippine National Fireworks Festival. The fireworks competition is participated by eight (8) local provinces and cities all over the Philippines, namely: General Santos City, Dumaguete City, Lemery, Batangas, Iloilo City, Bocaue and Meycauayan in Bulacan, and San Pablo and Cabuyao cities in Laguna. Everyone can watch the show for free but if you want a really good seat, buy the ticket for the lower box area at Php100 per person.

So far, I’ve been hearing good reviews from friends who have attended the shows during the first Saturdays. Our family will definitely be there tomorrow night to watch the spectacle of colorful lights dancing with upbeat music. Children  will love this event! So, see you there! :)
