More than 750 adult learners have completed training under the Del Scholarship Program for technical-vocational education managed by Center for Excellence (CENTEX). They were enrolled in different techvoc courses (including Autocad, Automotive Technology, Auto Electrical Repair, Basic and Advanced Baking, Basic and Advanced Cosmetology, Basic Dressmaking, Basic Electronics, Basic Tailoring, Basic and Advanced Computer Application, Building Wiring Installation, Cellphone Repair, Computer Repair, Domestic Refrigeration and Airconditioning, Food Processing, International Cuisine, Intermediate Welding, Motorcycle Mechanic, and Shielded Metal Arc or Welding) and in other courses such as 2D Animation, Finishing Course for Call Center Agents, and Web Development and Management.

The program started in 2002 and there came a time when CENTEX was offering caregiving and medical transcription courses which were funded by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) through scholarship vouchers. There were graduates from caregiving course  who are now wearing white cross scrubs and are already caregivers overseas.

The trainees, aside from the actual skills training on the target course, also undergo add-on courses on ‘English Proficiency,’ to improve their communication skills, and ‘Entrepreneurship,’ for those interested in setting up their own businesses.

The annual offering of TekBok courses (enrollment period usually start at the beginning of the year) is now an anticipated event for many Marikenos wishing to register for the program themselves or to enlist their family members and friends.
