With today’s technology, almost all private information are becoming public and accessible. And it’s not only in the case of social media. Hacking of personal information, particularly banking and credit information, is a long time ago reality.

There are companies that produces credit and identification card  embedded with Radio-frequency identification (RFID) chips so it will be readable my RFID machines for easy scanning and access of vendors (for swiping of card when used for purchasing) and even government authorities (used in passports). Because of this, card holders with RFID chips are vulnerable to payment fraud and identity theft.

To protect yourself from such incident, you may purchase leather wallets that feature RFID shielding. These wallets are designed to lock your personal information inside the wallet so it won’t be accessed by unauthorized RFID machines.
