Foot Talk!

This morning, I have spent a few minutes doing what I love to do — gazing at the display of shoes and other footwear products  on sale at the Marikina City Hall Quadrangle. The ‘Shoes Sale’ (both in the city hall quadrangle and at the Patio Del Zapateros in Bgy. San Roque) is part of the activities for the celebration of ‘Sapatos Festival 2012′ in Marikina.

Admittedly, I am a shoe fanatic. I do not have a big collection of shoes though as I have learned, coming from a town of shoemakers, that shoes have expiration dates (because the cement used to glue the parts together expires) and it’s not practical to keep a lot you would rarely use.  Now, I am a wiser shoe buyer.

However, I still make rare mistakes of buying shoes that do not fit well or are not comfortable to wear. Mainly because they were on sale or I was very attracted to the design or style. Since our feet support our ‘stand’ (literally!) all day long, it would be cruel to wear uncomfortable pair of shoes for a long period time. If in case, like you, you bought an ill-fitting pair of shoes, try looking for cushioned insoles here. Cushioned insoles help protect feet from sore and pain and there are available insole for different kinds of shoes such as high heels, rubber shoes or sports or athletic shoes, casual or office shoes, and even children’s shoes. Wearing cushioned insoles with your shoes will also help in restoring the sorry state of your feet and make it healthy again.
