Entrepreneurship Made Easy. Some Tips on Small Business Management.

There are different kinds of business for different people. Online businesses is now blooming but to some, it doesn’t work. My best friend just ventured into a small food business and I’m very happy for him, he’s happy I think but very stressed.

Stress is always a component, a part and parcel, of any real business (meaning a business in the real world, not the virtual type of businesses). I think the pressure is higher for those operating in the real world because of the different costs and expenses it entails. For my friend, I advised him to keep a book, a simple accounting book that would help him track down the coming in and going out of money in his food store. It’s very important to do this so the business man would know if the store is indeed losing or gaining. I also advised him to put labor or manpower costs which includes his and her wife’s salary in the book. This is the common mistake of small entrepreneurs (specially those operating in the informal economy), they don’t include their salaries or wages in the operating expenses so they thought they were earning or earning much but in reality, they were either losing or just making a break-even.

For those with businesses who are hoping for more productivity, one of the strategy is using
Refurbished point of sale. POS or point of sale are equipment or softwares that aids the retailers in inventory and other aspects of the business. Using refurbished pos are more inexpensive than using the new ones but if you wanted branded and brand new equipment and software, try ibm surepos pos.

Selecting the right POS would help business to lower inventory costs. Much more, it;s advantageous in providing excellent customer service so it will improve your productivity and sales.
