December Fever!
It’s day 3 of the most exciting month of the year. The countdown is on, 22 days to go before the big day — Christmas!
Although the memory of the past disaster still lingers and I have decided that I won’t be putting on Christmas decorations this year, my usual anticipation of the positiveness of this season still lives on. I am still like a child awaiting for the birthday of Jesus Christ with childish hope and excitement. Much has happened but nothing can dampen my Christmas spirit and this is something I am very thankful for.

White Christmas for a Marikenya
Because of the terrible heat and the busyness of the season, I feel drained. Physically and otherwise, I feel the need for a vacation, or better yet, a cold vacation.
I am now a fan of the popular Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) of ABS-CBN Channel 2 which air from Mondays to Saturdays. There was a time that one of the housemates from the PBB house from the Philippines, Caty, swithed house with a PBB housemate from Finland. Before the day Cathy was supposed to return to the Philippines, the housemates were startled when snows began falling down. I’m not sure whether PBB just set up the snow rain but nevertheless, even if I was just watching from the television, I can feel the exitement of actually joining a snowfight or making a snowman or toboganing.
