Letter On Setting Up an Online Newsletter
Posted by mhel in blogging, general, technology on January 8th, 2010
Got this email from a Marikenya.com reader Rinzi of Las Pinas City

Mabuhay! I am a regular subscriber of Marikenya.com. And I await regularly your mails. I find the online newsletter interesting and informative.
I want to learn how to encode and design an online newsletter like Marikenya. Would you be able to teach me online or have a session or two with you at your office?
Do you use a special software for doing the newsletter?
I plan to put up regularly a similar newsletter for our prayer group in Las Pinas City for distribution in the Internet.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thanks.
Rinzi of PDCC Holy Family Prayer Group, Las Pinas City
First of all, Rinzi, thank you for regularly vising Marikenya.com and for your subscription and for always taking time to write. Let me answer your questions one by one:
Q: How to encode and design an online newsletter like Marikenya?
A: What you are receiving from Marikenya.com whenever there are new articles are called feeds, in a way yes, it is already a newsletter but online newsletter may be different from that of feeds. I have designed an online newsletter in the past before for another reader who operated an online boutique and I used an MS office program called Microsoft Publisher. With the one you are receiving from Marikenya, it is called Feeds which is delivered via a third-party free online company called Feedburner.com which is now owned by Google.
