I realized last night before going to bed that at 31, I’m such a worrier. I worry about a lot of things — those that definitely matters like bills, budgeting, my son’s education and even serious issues like old age and sickness. At times, I even worry about unimportant concerns that are not even worth mentioning.
When I looked at the mirror this morning, I have realized that I already have very visible lines in my face, lines they call wrinkles. Oh man, they look worser than my permanent eye bags! Worrying is such a pain to a beautiful skin (since when I became so vain?).
Anyway, this morning, I resolved to using more products with reduce wrinkles and get a more youthful look adage and of course, as I always say, more often than not, it is all a matter of attitude.
So today, I hope to live my life better. Here are the things I hope to do, cost-free, to try to reduce my wrinkles:

I just got home, it’s already midnight and I just got home. I woke very early, about 5am, went to work and stressed my life out until 8pm then went to an informal business meeting with a friend and finally — the most awaited moment of my day — the trip to the Spa!
Osay, my very good friend and whom I consider the best, decided to pamper and treat ourselves. It was a totally stressful week and there’s no better way to end the day but a totally soothing and relaxing spa massage!

The comment of palito king in my blog “Schools of Thoughts” puzzled me and made me think. All of us, at any time in our lives, experienced being heavily stressed.
I can feel for palito. I’m not sure if it’s just the Christmas season that makes everyone long for longer time but I definitely feel the pressure! I wish there are longer hours of each day because I can’t seem to do everything that I need to do in 24 hours. Lately, I’ve been cutting big time on my sleep just to accommodate the other activities that I need to finish.
Juggling a lot of roles and responsibilities makes one very stressed. Not to add that there are things that you really wanted to do and yet, there seem to be no time for it. Just for today, I finished editing a book which is scheduled for printing tomorrow, attended two meetings, edited more journals and collaterals, answered a lot of text messages and calls from my boss, went to school for my CPE class, tried to eat kwekwek [steamed egg fried with starch with orange coloring] for dinner during our 15-minute break then went home, but bought “balut” [steamed premature egg] for my son who lately, I never had time to assist with his homework.And then at home, I have to write new articles for my blog because blogging is among the things that makes me happy these days.
The life of a young professional or “yuppie” is indeed stressful. I was not surprised that there seem to be an increasing concern of health problems [emotionally and physically] among young workers in call center companies. A friend of mine just lamented months back that two of his officemates died of cancer and they’re only in their early 20s. They suspect it was because of stress.
