A couple of days ago, I’ve written tips onInexpensive Valentine’s Day Gifts for boyfriends and husbands. This time, I would be sharing to you winning ideas on what a boyfriend, husband or even a suitor may give his lady love this valentines.

  • Anything Sweet and Nice. In this category, the traditional flowers and chocolates are still considered winners, only if there’s a twist. It is still fun receiving flowers and chocolates on v-day but really boring and not exciting anymore. But don’t despair, the roses and ferrero trick would still work if you modify the way it was given. Examples? Hmmm… if all this time, you have been personally giving the flowers to your honey, this time, have it delivered! Nothing beats a woman’s moment where all eyes are on her because she was handed a bouquet of flowers from a delivery man. And oh, don’t forget your handwritten card with your truly sweet message on it!

  • Anything Cute and Adorable. Women always love receiving cute and adorable stuff. It need not be expensive also. Classic example of items that falls in this category are the huggable stuf toys (it may sound old school but women still love hugging stuff toys from lovers) but makes sure, the size of the stuff toy is indeed for hugging and not looking. For modification, you may give a stuff toy with some blings on it (didn’t i say women love blings?) like matching bracelet and necklace. You may also put a tag on the cute thing’s neck with a message like “Her name is ____, and she’s here to always remind you how much I adore you.”

It’s already mid-January and at this time, malls and other shopping places are already crawling with Valentine’s Day gift items. Hmm… Being a total shopping freak, my issue is choosing to buy my honey an expensive valentine’s day gift or… make him one?

Since I’ve bought him an expensive shirt last Christmas and I’m short of budget, I’l vouch for the latter — my valentines day gift would be a personalized one. :)

And of course, if you would opt to give your honey a personalized treat, then better start thinking now! Let me share with you some fantastic personalized and inexpensive ideas that would melt and fire the passion in your romance this Valentines.

  • A Personal Massage and Other Treats Coupons. A couple of years back, I thought of a really sweet and innovative birthday present for my husband. I designed and printed coupons from my computer that offers full-body massage, foot spa treat, free carwash, and “extra services” deemed by the holder (*wink). Read more
